Stock watch update
As mentioned in the latest copy of the newsletter we have decided to change the way we show the stocks to more accurately reflect how we would trade them.
We should remind you at this point that when we are talking about the stocks, they are not stock tips. The intention is to demonstrate how we would select stocks and manage those which trigger. If you wish to trade any of them, you should do so after carrying out your own analysis and if necessarily after consulting your broker.
Under the previous system we have held stocks within the virtual fund even after they have hit their specific targets, quite often with the stop at breakeven or at the original position which refected in a virtual loss.
To make it more realistic with a trading account we will look at the results as in a spread betting account as well as a traditional share account.
Here is the update from the end of July. It turned out with a 2.15% loss in the month, even though many of the stocks had hit the initial profit targets.
