Economic diary for week ending 28th September
Monday, September 24th, 2007We have sufficient number of economic reports to provide some volatility in the markets this week.
Of course the US housing market is seen as a major worry, thus the new and existing home sales will be watched carefully. These are released on Thursday and Tuesday respectively.
Wednesday sees the US durable goods report. Often an extremely variable report due to the transportation components (aircraft orders), traders tend to look at the core figure to get a better feel for the state of country’s order books. It is forecast that this figure will come in well down from last month (-0.8% against +3.7%).
